It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Gene Dunbar Sr. of Northfield, Vermont, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald L. Dunbar Sr. and Agnes Dunbar (Hoffman); and his wife Dolores L. McQueen. He is survived by: his children, Bernard Dunbar Jr. (Saranya), Brian Dunbar (Monica), Lorry Needham (Tim) and Shelley Twitchell (Scott); and his sisters, Lorraine, Sheila, Jane and Valerie. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
