It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Barclay of Northfield, Vermont is shared. Michael, born on December 22, 1956, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Michael is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Michael’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barclay and Buelah Barclay; and his daughter Blair DiLuzio. He is survived by: his daughter Nichole Croteau (Nathan Croteau); his stepmother Betty Barclay; and his siblings, Ken Barclay (Kay), Larry Barclay, Donald Barclay, Debbie Dickinson (Ron), Pam Barclay (Brian), Beverlee Cruickshank and Patty Barclay Burrows (Les). He is also survived by two step-sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Northfield American Legion Post 63 (48 Depot Square, Northfield, VT 05663).
