He was predeceased by: his sister Nina Brignon. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Carolan Dwyer (Patrick), Nina Tallon (Dave Nelson) and Michael Popowski; and his brother Jon Popowski. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
