He was predeceased by: his wife Carline E. Swift. He is survived by: his brother Merlin Swift Jr.; his daughter Shannon Gioia; his grandchildren, Hannah Swift, Rebecca Lakin, Aharon Findley and Joshua Findley; and his siblings, Denis and Sylvia Lappier. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
