He is survived by: his siblings, Lassissi Akpo-Sani of Pira, Magloire Akpo-Sani (Catherine) of Atlanta, Georgia, Marguerite Akpo-Sani of Cotonou and Claude Akpo-Sani of Cotonou; and his son Olatundji Akpo-Sani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
