We bid farewell to Greta T. Crandall (Peru, Vermont), born in Granville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Greta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Greta leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Greta may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ahial Crandall; her son Jeffrey Mason; and her stepchildren, Daniel Crandall (Penny) and Katherine Sessions (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Beebe; and her stepsons, William Crandall (Terry) and Almon Crandall (Linda). She is also survived by grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peru Congregational Church. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 51 SeeSaws Run W, Peru, VT 05152.
