It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Poro (Pittsford, Vermont), who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Poro and Barbara Poro; and his brothers, William Poro and Richard Poro. He is survived by: his son Thomas Michael Poro (Melissa); his wife Nancy Greeno; his grandson Thomas Franklin Poro; and his siblings, Patty Martin, Mary Greeno (Fred), Jeannie Foley (Dave) and Edward Poro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
