She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Cusic and James Cusic; her siblings, Stephanie, JoAllen, Andy and Larry; her brother-in-law Floyd; and her son-in-law Dobie.
She is survived by: her husband Marshall "Mickey" Hier; her children, Jamie Buzzell (Jen) of Brandon, Tina Volner of The Villages, FL, Kevin Hier of Pittsford and Benjamin Hier (Julia) of West Linn, OR; her grandsons, Colby, Camden, Matthew and Carter; her brother Kevin Cusic (Charlene) of Hollywood, MD; and her sister-in-law Marcia Cusic of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barnard Funeral Home (3186 US-7, Pittsford, VT 05763).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rutland Regional Medical Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Rutland, Vermont.
