It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon A. Gillens of Plainfield, Vermont, born in Hanover, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Jason Gillens; and his brother Michael Gillens. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Jean Longacre (Tuck); his stepchildren, Timothy Longacre (Nicole), Joshua Longacre (Meghan) and Melinda Taber (Breck) of Plainfield, NH; his children, Scott Gillens and Diane Gillens; and his sister Viola Wilson of Canaan, NH. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
