It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara Rider of Poultney, Vermont, who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford P. Rossignol and Mary E. (Malm); and her brother-in-law Fritz Wagner. She is survived by: her husband James Rider of Poultney Vermont; her sister C. Paula Blake; her daughter Laura Sturtevant (Todd) of East Middlebury; her grandchildren, Jessica, Lane and Justus; her daughter Christina Drew (Adam); her stepson Keith Rider (Kim); and her stepgrandchildren, Kyle and Katelyn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Young at Heart Senior Center as well as The Foley Cancer Treatment Center, Rutland Vermont.
