It is with sadness that the passing of David W. Dotson (Poultney, Vermont) is shared. David, born on November 12, 1940 in Fort Scott, Kansas, passed away on October 1, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David W. Dotson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Dotson (Davidson); and his brother James Dotson. He is survived by: his father Floyd Dotson; his wife Linda Terpening of Poultney; his children, Stephen P. Dotson (Lorraine) of Rutland Town, Eric D. Dotson (Catalina) of Pittsford, NY and Krista D. O'Brien (Robert) of North Haven, CT; and his grandchildren, Teresa, Tristan, Sara and Grace.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home (266 Allen Ave, Poultney, VT 05764). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Vermont Nursing School or the Foley Cancer Center, Rutland.
