She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sumner and Irene Sumner of Queensbury, NY; her siblings, Carol Hack of Texas, Robert Sumner of Queensbury, Diane and Earl McQuain of Lake George, NY; and her grandson David Fleury of Poultney.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Sumner of Hampton, NY, Robin Wanamaker of Poultney, VT, Stan Fosmer (Ralena Whittemore) and Bonnie (James Wright); her grandsons, Christopher Fosmer of Poultney, VT and Douglas Fosmer of Castleton, VT; and her siblings, Steve (Birdy Sumner), Charles Sumner (Mary), Bonnie Manney of Stoney Creek, NY, Dody (Steve Thetford) and Mable Colombe of Hudson Falls, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bomoseen State Park.
