With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Williams of Poultney, Vermont, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McMorrow and Eleanor Williams McMorrow (Evans); his stepfather Raymond McMorrow; his parents-in-law, Jeanne Paquette (Arel) and Conrad Paquette; his sisters, Jean Mahar (Williams) and Joan Richards (Williams); and his siblings-in-law, Francis Mahar, Sam Richards and Doris DeGeer (Paquette).
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Williams (Paquette); his children, Robert R. Williams, Deborah A. Williams of Poultney and Suzzanne M. Willimas of Poultney; his grandsons, Nathanial J. Jones of Chippenhook and Nicholas R. Jones of Poultney; and his great grandchildren, Maisie Lou Jones and Brantley G. Jones. He is also survived by 3 brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
He was also very proud at mastering his iPhone and sent morning texts every single day to his children and grandchildren when Covid hit and he never stopped.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Poultney Public Library or the Poultney Rescue Squad.
