We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 84, Walter A. Jones Jr. (Poultney, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A Jones and Gladys Reed Jones; and his siblings, Clayton Jones, William Jones, Timothy Jones, Jaqueline Jones and Janice Marie.
He is survived by: his daughter Anne Jones Sturtevant (Charles) of Hubbardton; his wife Shirley Tracey; his son Danny Jones (Kim) of Poultney; his grandchildren, Lee Sturtevant (Ashley) of Fair Haven, Ashley Lamb (James) of Wells, Ali Morgan (Jay) of Poultney, Jessica Phalen (Mark) of Fair Haven, Hailey McAdoo (Derek) of St. Albans, Joshua and Tyler Sturtevant of Hubbardton; his great grandchildren, Liam, Addalyn, Elliot, Iris, Juniper, Maisy, Maya and Myles; and his sister Joan Briggs (Ron Jones) of Fair Haven.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home (266 Allen Ave, Poultney, VT 05764).
