It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll William Humphrey of Proctor, Vermont, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Tenney R. Humphrey and Nettie D. Humphrey of Proctor, Vermont.; his former life partner Dorothy Yates Humphrey; his son James Humphrey; and his brothers, Dean Humphrey and Bruce Humphrey.

He is survived by : his wife Joanne Newlin Humphrey; his daughters, Nancy Mason and Susan Sumner (Scott); his daughter-in-law Sue Ellen Humphrey; and his son David Humphrey (Susan). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 3 stepsons, 7 step grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peniel United Methodist Church.
