She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Shappy and Mary Shappy (Robie); her husband Hoby Johnson; and her siblings, Vincent Shappy, Elaine Clark, Ethel Scott, Winnie Rejeski, William Shappy Jr., Clayton Shappy, Irving Shappy and Russell Shappy.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Dauphinais (Joe) of Rutland, Herbert Johnson (Lisa) of Proctor and Kristen Johnson of Proctor; her grandchildren, Brandon, Bethany and Kristina; her sister-in-law Helen Newton; her friend Sheila Racette; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Scott, Bill Shappy, Donna Shappy, Sandy Shappy and Jill Van Buren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aldous Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Rutland (44 N Main St, Rutland, VT 05701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (66 S Main St, Rutland, VT 05701).
