With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra (Sandy) Taranovich Lasky of Proctor, Vermont, who passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Taranovich (Hamilton) and Match J. Taranovich; and her brother James T. Taranovich. She is survived by: her sons, Perry Douglas Lasky (Kathryn Avayou) of Gilbert, SC and Paul Douglas Lasky (Daisy) of Rutland, VT; her grandson Gavin Lasky of Chicago, IL; her sons, David Thar (Karley) of Shrewsbury, VT, Kenny Thar (Scott Margol) of West Hartford, CT and William Lasky; her great grandchildren, Leium, Gavyn, Wyatt and Matthias; her sister Linda Ritchie (Douglas) of Southbury, CT; her sister-in-law Judy Taranovich of Proctor; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah Purrington, Todd Ritchie, Joshua Taranovich, Megan Minkler and David Parker.
