We are sad to announce that, on March 21, 2026, John J. Wiegand Sr. of Quechee, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; and his siblings, George and Frances. He is survived by: his children, Claudia Wiegand of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Linda WiegandPackard of Quechee, Donna Wiegand-Bicknell (Raymond) of Beebe Plain, VT, John Wiegand, Jr. (Cindy) of Quechee and Michael Wiegand (Ghaddra Gonzalez) of Mercer Island, WA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John's name to the Quechee Library (quecheeandwilderlibraries.com) or the Vermont Golf Association Junior Golf Scholarship Fund (vgasf.org).
