With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosalind Dickinson Sumner of Randolph, Vermont, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Dickinson and Thelma Dickinson; her former life partner Jeffry Smithers; her sister Nadine (Alton Royce); and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Sumner and Peter.

She is survived by : her husband Donald Sumner of Randolph; her sister Carolyn (Hugh Goldsmith) of Dummerston, VT; her children, Gregory (Jennifer Smithers) of Cambridge, VT and Felicia (Timothy Allard) of Randolph; her stepsons, Christopher (Melissa Sumner) of Enfield, NH and Scott (Laura Sumner) of Truckee, CA; and her grandchildren, Mason, Jacob Allard, Grace Smithers, Kolton, Kylie Sumner, Hayden and Dylan Sumner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to Mariatu's Hope which provides infant nutrition and well rehabilitation in Sierra Leone would be greatly appreciated.
