It is with sadness that the passing of Dean A. Garrapy in Reading, Vermont is shared. Dean, born on June 25, 1934, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Dean will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Dean by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Dean is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Dean’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Garrapy and Hattie Garrapy (Badore); and his half-siblings, Joe Brittel and Marguerite Allen. He is survived by: his wife Bev Garrapy (Becker) of Reading, VT; his daughters, Anna Tewksbury (David) of Springfield, VT and Debbie Ferland (Moe) of Lake Mary, FL.; and his grandchildren, Paul Tewksbury (Meghan), Shanon Tewksbury (Zach), Alden Tewksbury (Krista), Deanna Ferland (Brian) and Starsha Adams (Arthur). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dean and Bev's Home (1103 VT-106, Reading, VT 05062).
