He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Gile and Virginia Gile (Phelps); his former wife Judith Wagner; his wife Judy Gile; and his brother Larry Gile.
He is survived by: his daughters, Norma Jean Nitz (Nathan), Lorelei Ferre (Scot), Martha Muster and Loretta Rippon (Ben); his grandchildren, Lydia, Annabelle, Charlotte, David, Guinevere, Piper, Sofia and Michael; his brothers, Dennis Gile (Sherry) and Bradley Gile (Barbara); his sister-in-law Donna Gile; and his siblings' children, Veronica Paquette (Kenny), Melinda Johnston (Doug), Carl Gile (Theresa) and Neil Gile (Suzy). He is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
