Jean Murray Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Murray (Richmond, Vermont), who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Ward and Lena Ward (Bolio); her siblings, Raymond, Melvin, Samuel, Mildred, Theresa, Dorothy, Betty, Helen, Jody and Ida; and her grandson Adam John Murray.

She is survived by : her husband Russell Murray; and her children, Russell, Jr., Glen, Peggy, Laura, Sue, Amy, Karen, Joyce and Sissy (Sharon).

“To Peg and Sue and all the children and grandchildren, I am sorry for your loss. Jean (Momma Murray as I fondly called her each time we spoke) was a dedicated mother and important influence for her grandchildren. Her caring manner taught us all - just focus on that and the rest takes care of itself. She was certainly a force…and I loved out phone conversations and jolly nature - we could always laugh at the end of any conversation about family and life!”
