We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 91, Raymond Mobbs (Richmond, Vermont), born in Essex, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Elizabeth Sweeney; his parents, Benjamin Mobbs and Gladys Mobbs (Labelle); his son Daniel; and his siblings, James, Francis (Madeline), Robert (Gloria), Edward (Ann), Richard, Shirley Yost (Conrad) and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Blanchard (Leonard) and Randall Mobbs (Sueanne); his siblings, Lawrence Mobbs (Sharon Bourne) and Marie Bruley (Richard); his granddaughters, Twila Chafai, Kitty Holbrook (Jeremy), Tiffany Mobbs, Brittany Mobbs (David Molnar) and Emily Langlois (Kyle); his stepgranddaughter Michele Roberge; and his great grandchildren, Meredith, Megan Holbrook (Johnathan Bushey), Selena Molnar, Zakaria, Hana Chafai, Gracie Robar, Kiera and Joseph Langlois.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gifford Funeral Home (22 Depot St, Richmond, VT 05477). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (64 W Main St, Richmond, VT 05477).
