She was predeceased by : her parents, Angelo Mastroianni and Angeline Mastroianni of Middlebury, CT.; and her sister Catherine. She is survived by : her sons, Caleb (Margaret) and Conor; her husband James Leland; her brothers, Stephen (Mary Ann) and Michael (Linda); and her brother-in-law Don Shiers (Donna). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.

“I first met Rosemarie in 2009 when I had graduated high school and my dad had gotten my best friend, Jordon and I summer jobs at UVM Physical Plant, maintaining the grounds of the university. Rose was our supervisor during the 5 summers we worked there, she was understanding, kind, and very devoted to the work put into the Universities buildings and grounds department. I was glad for Rose and her husband attending my wedding this past Fall and I will remember her whenever I admire her gift.”
