With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur N Johnson of Rutland, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Johnson and Cassius Johnson; his wife Mary Anne; his son Colin; and his sister Mary Johnson.
He is survived by: his significant other Sara Morgan Patella; his children, Melissa Johnson (Robert Hopkins), Suzanne Johnson Weissman, Christopher Johnson (Joan Lattuca) and Jared Johnson (Elissa Bucceri); his grandchildren, Liliana Dallett, Isabella Weissman, Will Johnson, Olivia Weissman, Anais Dallett and Emma Johnson; and his siblings, Cassius Johnson and Peggy Fargo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aldous Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Rutland (44 N Main St, Rutland, VT 05701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Church (134 Convent Ave, Rutland, VT 05701).
