He is survived by: his wife Heather Norton; his children, Benjamin and Elizabeth; his siblings, William Atherton (Cynthia), Stephen Atherton (Rita), Mary Atherton, Laura Griggs (Carroll) and Robert Atherton; his sisters-in-law, Amy Norton, Hilary Norton (Matt Lowry) and Ashley Vandeweert (Joe); and his father-in-law Gary Norton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
