David William Romano Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 16, 2025, at the age of 62, David William Romano of Rutland, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Carmen Romano; and his grandmother Helen Durfee. He is survived by: his mother Lorine Congdon Durfee of Weston; his wife Melissa Romano of Rutland; his children, Sara Monte (Austin) and Dominic Romano of Rutland; his siblings, John Romano of North Clarendon, Lori Romano (Scott Graves) of Milford, NH, Dean Romano of Rutland and Jesse Hagar (Carolyn) of Boston, MA; his uncle Donald; his aunt Terry Romano of Rutland; his stepmother Peggy Romano of Rutland; and his parents-in-law, Sylvia Fontaine and Ed Weber of Castleton. He is also survived by many extended family, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital through the funeral home office.
