She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles J. Willson Jarrett and Aletha Lois Peavey; her children, Timothy Deering of Bristol, Susan West (Kenneth) of Rutland, Theresa Curtiss (Edward) of South Burlington and Corinne Deering of South Burlington; her grandchildren, Kathryn Myhre (West) and James West; her brother Fred Jarrett (Jean) of Taft; her husband Jim (Jim) of Veteran's Memorial Cemetery; and her brothers, George, Herbert, Albert, Robert and Jack Jarrett. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Rutland area RSVP program for which she received the 2008 Governor's Award for Outstanding Community Service.
