The memory of Gordon Gibbs Sr. in Rutland, Vermont, born in Hubbardton, Vermont, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gibbs and Cora Gibbs (Swenor); his wife Sarah Jane Manning; his sons, Michael Gibbs and Wayne Gibbs; and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Russell Gibbs, Darwin Gibbs and Theron Gibbs.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Lynn Gibbs (Thomas Wiese), Gordon L. Gibbs, Jr. (Pamela), Leon P. Gibbs and Allen J. Gibbs; and his brothers, Gary Gibbs and Dwayne Gibbs. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Homes, Inc. (4 S Park Pl, Fair Haven, VT 05743). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (860 VT-74, Shoreham, VT 05770).
