He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gibbs and Cora Gibbs (Swenor); his wife Sarah Jane Manning; his sons, Michael Gibbs and Wayne Gibbs; and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Russell Gibbs, Darwin Gibbs and Theron Gibbs.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Lynn Gibbs (Thomas Wiese), Gordon L. Gibbs, Jr. (Pamela), Leon P. Gibbs and Allen J. Gibbs; and his brothers, Gary Gibbs and Dwayne Gibbs. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
