With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iola Marie (Balcom) McCullough of Rutland, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen C. Balcom and Maude Balcom (Blackmer); her husband Lloyd G. McCullough; her grandson Bradley McCullough; and her siblings, Lenore Smith, Muriel Paradis, Owen Charles Balcom (Chuck) and Leroy Balcom (Roy).
She is survived by: her children, Brian McCullough (Carol) of Bessemer City, NC, Janice McCullough Tower (John) of Rutland and Pat Jaquith; her grandsons, John Tower, Jr. (Danielle Senecal) of Brunswick, ME, Robert Obee Tower (Meaghan) of Toronto and Ontario; her stepgrandsons, Brian Travis and Scott Travis; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Elliot Tower, Kyla, Sophie Obee Tower, Nikole Travis Newman, Anthony O'Brien, Nathan McCullough and Kasey Newman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
