It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Gertrude Hogenkamp of Rutland, Vermont, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gertrude Karl (Ryan) and Peter Adam Karl; her husband William Hogenkamp; her siblings, Jack, Mary Karl, Peter, Sydney, Frances Karl, Mary Louise, Thomas Cosgrove, Maureen and Daniel Montano; her brother-in-law Thomas Hogenkamp (Eileen); and her grandson David Specht.
She is survived by : her children, Mary (Bill Specht), Eric (Cassie Hogenkamp), William Jr. (Nancy Hogenkamp) and Peter (Lisa Hogenkamp); her grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica and Will Specht; her great grandchild Raelyn Specht; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Karl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
