With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Fred Porter Sr. in Rutland, Vermont, born in Salisbury, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Porter and Marie Porter (Parker); his daughter Doris; and his wife Sylvia Currier. He is survived by: his sons, John Jr. (Margurette) of Pawlet and Richard (Tracey) of Danby; and his significant other Dorothy Currier (Jean). He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and many Great grandchildren.
