He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Mero and Elizabeth Mero (Young); his in-laws, Leon and Freida St. John; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Mero, Betty Jean Mitchell and Bob St. John.
He is survived by : his wife Anne; his children, Joseph Mero (Jess) of Shrewsbury, Nicole Mero-Dutil (Chad) of West Chazy, NY and Annette Woodbury (Tommy) of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Mitchel Mero (Cheyanne), Chris Mero, Anna Dutil and Ariel Woodbury; and his siblings, Tom Mero (Kathie) and Karen Hachigan (Hatch).
In lieu of flowers donation can be made in his name to the West Rutland American Legion Post 87, National Kidney Foundation or Friends of Veterans of White River, Vermont.
