She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kapitan and Beverly Kapitan (Jones); her brother Douglas Kapitan; and her niece Juliette Kapitan. She is survived by: her children, David Sadowski of Coventry, RI, Jessica Fredette of Rutland and Jeff Sadowski of Rutland.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland Humane Society or the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, who were like extended family to Laurie and always provided compassionate care.
