She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Mattison and Iona Mattison; her siblings, Harland "George" Mattison, Earl Mattison, Robert "Bobby" Mattison, Howland "Buzzy" Mattison and Eric Mattison; and her grandson Josh Ruane.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jane Tyler and Shirly Miller; her husband Robert "Bob" Ruane; her children, Cash Ruane (Stephanie) of North Clarendon, VT, Kevin Ruane of Tinmouth, VT, Cherie Ruane of North Clarendon, VT, Sharon McNeil (late Roland) of North Clarendon, VT, Karen Bishop (Paul) of East Poultney, VT and Melissa Rosenberg (Adam); her grandchildren, Shelley Pearce (Terry) of Middlesex, Andrew Ruane (Alyssa) of Poultney, VT, Katie Eugair (Mike) of Florence, VT, Elizabeth Bushey of Aberdeen, MD, Emily Bushey of North Clarendon, VT and Evelyn Bushey of Newburgh, ME.; and her great grandchildren, Talon, Lilian and Kendall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aldous Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Rutland (44 N Main St, Rutland, VT 05701). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Clarendon Cemetery. A reception will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarendon Fire Department or the Vermont State 4-H Program.
