It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond James Gandy (Rutland, Vermont), born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Raymond may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenny Gandy and Anton Gandy. He is survived by: his daughters, Cara Pepler of Somersworth, NH and Jami Gandy of Ira, VT; his son-in-law Daniel Pepler; his grandchildren, Maya and Levi Pepler; his sister Jean; his brother-in-law Robert Browne; his cousin Edward Skwira; his nephews, Paul and David Browne; Everett.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ira Town Hall.
