He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy McGuiness and Edward McGuiness; his wife Joyce Brayton of Raphael's Church; his son Jeffrey McGuiness; and his sisters, Jane Charron and Judy Ouellette.
He is survived by: his child Little League; his brothers-in-law, Vern Brayton, Mark Brayton, Gary Brayton and Wayne Charron; his children, Randy McGuiness of Chittenden and Mary McGuiness Smith of Rutland Town; his grandsons, Ben and Ian Smith; his daughter Kristine McGuiness (John Havens) of Rutland; his grandchild Finn McGuiness; his daughter-in-law Kristen Caliguiri of West Rutland; and his grandchildren-in-law, Maddison and Mallory McGuiness.
