He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis West and Ruby Nichols West; his wife Ruth Johnson; his brother Paul West; his nephews, Gary West and Alan West; his sister Mary West Shedd; and his half-brother Leonard West.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Jerome Shedd of Ripton and Diane Shedd Wozniak of Altamont; Stacey Bowen, Michael Johnson and Priscilla West. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren; Leonard's children and grandchildren; Alan's children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Aldous Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Rutland (44 N Main St, Rutland, VT 05701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
