In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shawn leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Shawn may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Pasquilino Bernardo. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Bernardo; his wife Bonnie (Root); his children, Josh Root (Samantha), Dillon (Kayla), Cody, Kylee and Casey; his grandson Jackson Root; and his siblings, Marjory Webb (Michael) and Michael Stevens. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Country Village Campground (40 US-7, Leicester, VT 05733).
