He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Olney and Rachel Olney (Crowley). He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Sanderson; his daughters, Kimberly Olney Young (Matt) of Tinmouth, VT and Shannon Olney Collins (Dan) of Shrewsbury, VT; his sister Betty Merlin (Murray) of Mt. Holly, VT; his grandchildren, Chelsea Young (Troy), Chad Young (Gabby), Riley, Dylan and Keenan Collins; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southside Steakhouse (170 S Main St, Rutland, VT 05701).
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Department.
