It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Delores O'Brien (Bobbi) Merchant (Saint Albans, Vermont) is shared. Barbara, born on March 21, 1937, passed away on October 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; her parents, Tim O'Brien and Anna O'Brien; her siblings, Wayne and Sandy (Lee); her sisters-in-law, Sarah and Mary Ellen; her niece Lisa; and her nephews, Troy and Duffy.
She is survived by: her children, Todd (Linda (Collins)) and Jori (Scott (Dean)); her grandchildren, Trevor Merchant (Kelsey (Galey)) and Amanda Snelling (Clay); her great grandchildren, Franni Merchant, Alivia, Teddy and Parker Snelling; her brothers, Burke, Mickey and Eugene O'Brien (Inez); and her sister-in-law Jinny O'Brien (Wayne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home (87 S Main St, St Albans City, VT 05478). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Converse Home (272 Church St, Burlington, VT 05401).
