He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Habecker and Grace Habecker; his sons, Robert and Ricky Habecker; and his siblings, Betty Lou Habecker and James Root.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his son Randy Habecker; his sister Sandra Nelson; his niece Wanda Owens; his nephew Bill Nelson; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Barry requested that Phyllis establish a fund to support the Milton Police Department's retired K9s with medical expenses and long-term care.
