She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Buffington and Lurlene Buffington (Sumner); her husband Robert Harris; her grandson Chad Charron; and her sisters, Clara Bluto and Merlene "Patsy" Sloan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Rubie of South Carolina, Sue Johnson (Jack Shappy) of St. Albans, Tammy Levick of St. Albans and Laurie Johnson of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Nick and Christine Rubie; her great grandchildren, Jack and Jesse; her grandchildren, Julien Brenton and Kari Longley; her great grandchild Andrew; her grandchildren, Amand and Jeff Griffin; her great grandchildren, Tiawna, Austin Barry, Brady, Hailey Hatin, Mikayla, Josh Edelson, Heather and Ben O'Neil; her sister Lurene Brewer of Kentucky; Brae Lynn, Tyler King, Khloe Lumbra and Theodora O'Neil. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hawks Nest Community Room.
