He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorman Potter and Joyce Potter (Godin); and his siblings, Norman, Bruce and Leona.

He is survived by : his siblings, Dorothy Smith of St. Albans and Rodney Potter (Lisa) of Sheldon; his nieces and nephews, Clifford, Thomas, Harlan, James, Norman, Douglas, Laura, Cheria, Christine and Kandy-Kay; his uncle Reginald Godin; and his cousins, David Godin and Rhea Godin.
