He is survived by: his children, Gary Jr. and Trudy; his daughter-in-law Jean; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Mark, Gary III and Brendan; his great grandchildren, Gary IV, Haven, Griffin, Isabella, Nina and Rip; his sister-in-law Diane Gilmond; his nephew Craig Jr.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, CJ and Brady.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions in Gary's name be made to the Champlain Valley Exposition - Horse Pulling; 105 Pearl Street Essex Junction, VT 05452.
