He was predeceased by : his parents, Rheal Riopel and Jeanne Riopel (Goddu); his siblings, Frank Riopel and Sue Riopel; his nieces, Marcie and Nadine Morales; and his nephew Kevin Morales.
He is survived by : his children, Skylar Riopel (Nicole Stevens) of Saint Albans and Samantha (Matthew Lee) of Bradenton, FL; his granddaughter Sedona Lee; his brothers, Gary (Angie Riopel) and Ron Riopel; his sister-in-law Helen Jarvis; his siblings, George (Cindy Riopel) and Patty Riopel; and his extended family, Sally Riopel, Ace Gover, Angela and Mark Rollins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
