She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burns and Irene Burns (Ahearn); and her siblings, Joseph Burns (Fran Christie), Edward (Gloria Burns), William (Ann Burns), Pat (Paige Everin), Rita (Howard Thiery) and Raymond Burns.
She is survived by: her grandson Sean Stergas; her husband John Hurley of St. Albans, VT; her children, Kathleen Stergas (Rick) of Fairfax, VT and John Hurley (Candice) of Carlsbad, CA.; her grandchildren, Julia Stergas of Boston, MA and Evan Hurley of Carlsbad, CA.; and her sister-in-law Shirley Burns of Wethersfield, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
