Joyce Glidden Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 10, 2026, at the age of 92, Joyce Glidden Smith of Saint Albans, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caswell "Ted" Glidden and Hilda Glidden (Johnson); her husband Hubert L. Smith; her daughter Cynthia Cook; her grandson Adam Kyle Elwood; her siblings, Osburn Glidden and Phyllis Plattner; and her sons-in-law, John Cook and Tim Moss.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kalahan (Kevin), Randall Smith (Karen), Julie Norris (Alan) and Betsy Moss; and her grandchildren, Casey Bessette, Adam C. Cook, Eric Smith, Travis Smith, Rebecca Morin, Andrew Norris, Cody Norris, Kyle Norris, Ethan Moss, Morgan Moss, Colton Reed and Landon Reed. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and their spouses, 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
