He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Young and Caroline M. Young (Larocque); and his close friend Eunice Russell. He is survived by : his sister Rose Valiaquette; his niece Leona; his nephew Paul of Connecticut; his close friends, Jill and Robert Russell; and also, Jan and David Sweet (family: Darren Plouff).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin County Rehab Center, 110 Fairfax Road, St. Albans, Vermont 05478.
