He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stephen Coon and Gertrude Matilda Cross Coon; his wife Kathleen Cecilia King Coon; his siblings, Orlando, Joyce, Violet Draper, Bruce, Bernard, Gerald, Johnson, Sterling and Maurice Coon; and his siblings-in-law, Therese, Wilma, Theresa, Sandra, Marcia, Beatrice Coon, Carroll Draper and Bruce Ramsay.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy DeGraff (Danny), Steven Coon (Patricia), Sandra Pappas and Wanda Cosman; his siblings, Stuart, Henry, Dale, Catherine Ramsay, Keith and Gregory Coon; and his sisters-in-law, Maria, Helen, Peggy, Janet and Paula Coon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his large community of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home (87 S Main St, St Albans City, VT 05478). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Albans Bay United Methodist Church (575 Lake Rd, Georgia, VT 05481).
